Access Bank Holdings CEO Herbert Wigwe, wife, son laid to rest

The funeral service for Herbert Wigwe, the former CEO of Access Holdings, his wife Doreen Chizoba, and their son Chizzy was held yesterday in Isiokpo, Rivers State.

The service took place at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, followed by a burial at the family’s private mausoleum at Wigwe University.

The funeral procession, accompanied by a large motorcade, made its way from Port Harcourt International Airport to the family compound in Omueke, Isiokpo.

Numerous dignitaries attended the funeral service to honor the memory of Herbert Wigwe and his family. As a visionary leader, Wigwe played a significant role in shaping Access Bank into a leading global financial institution.

His positive impact on the Nigerian economy has been widely acknowledged, and tributes continue to pour in from the business community.
