The National Service Scheme (NSS) has posted 122,275 prospective national service personnel to various institutions across Ghana for the 2023/2024 service year.
This annual mandatory service is required of Ghanaian graduates from accredited tertiary institutions.
The posted personnel include eligible graduates from the class of 2023, individuals who previously defaulted but have now submitted their applications for postings, and private registrants.
Regional validation and registration will commence on Monday, October 16, 2023, at designated centers nationwide. This timeline accommodates prospective service personnel who are yet to complete their academic programs.
The 2023/2024 National Service year is set to begin on Wednesday, November 1, 2023.
In a press statement issued by the Executive Director of the National Service Scheme, Osei Assibey Antwi, on Friday, September 29, 2023, management of the NSS emphasized their non-support for changes in postings. They cautioned personnel against engaging with unidentified individuals or groups claiming the ability to alter postings.
