Fisherfolks Praise VP Bawumia for Automated Premix Fuel System

Fisherfolks have lauded Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for his commitment to alleviating their long-standing challenges. Their praise comes in response to the commissioning of the Automated Premix Fuel Dispensing and Monitoring System, a digital initiative designed to streamline the distribution of premix fuel.

With the new system, fisherfolks can access the quantity of premix fuel they need directly from the pumps by using their digital Canoe Identification Cards, which are linked to their vessels. This innovation eliminates the need for intermediaries in the distribution process and effectively ends corruption in the premix fuel distribution system.

The fisherfolks expressed their appreciation during the launch of the automated system in Elmina. They commended the government and Vice President Dr. Bawumia for their commitment to improving their lives.

The fisherfolks noted that Dr. Bawumia had shown concern for their plight and had a vision to address the challenges they faced with premix fuel distribution.

They credited the Vice President for making this vision a reality, stating that it would significantly benefit fishermen across Ghana.

Nana Badu, the Chief Fisherman, also commended Dr. Bawumia for his role in bringing the benefits of digital technology to the fisherfolk community.

They expressed their gratitude to the government and the Vice President for implementing the innovative premix fuel distribution system, which simplifies the process and ensures that they receive the quantity of fuel they require without any difficulties.

The fisherfolks praised the digitization efforts led by Dr. Bawumia, highlighting the positive impact it has had on their industry. They described the Automated Premix Fuel Dispensing and Monitoring System as a significant milestone for fishermen in Ghana, thanking the Vice President for his commitment to improving their lives through digital initiatives.
