Ghana will celebrate its 66th Independence Day today, Monday, March 6, in Ho, the Volta Regional capital. Hundreds of Ghanaians and foreign dignitaries are expected to attend the event in Ho.
The Special Guest of Honour is Umaro Sissoco Embaló, President of Guinea Bissau and Chairman of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).
‘Our Unity, Our Strength, Our Purpose’ will be the event’s theme.
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is also expected to address the nation during the event.
