The passing of Deputy Minister of Finance John Kumah is indeed a loss to Ghana, as he leaves behind a legacy of dedication and service. Here is an overview of his life, education, career, and political achievements:

Early Life and Education:
John Kumah was born on August 4, 1978, in Ejisu Odaho, Ashanti Region, Ghana. He attended Opoku Ware School for his secondary education. Later, he pursued higher education and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with Philosophy from the University of Ghana (Legon).

He furthered his studies with an MBA in Finance from GIMPA in 2009. Additionally, he obtained a Degree in Law (LLB) from the University of Ghana and a Professional Law Degree (BL) from the Ghana School of Law.

John Kumah also completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Business Research from the Nobel International Business School in 2019 and received a Doctorate in Business Innovation from the Swiss Business School in Switzerland, along with a Masters in Applied Research (Business Innovation).

Career:
John Kumah was admitted to the Ghana Bar as a Solicitor and Legal Practitioner in 2013. He was a founding member and Managing Partner of Aduaprokye Chambers and the founder of Majak Associates Ltd, a construction company.

He served as the CEO of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP) until 2020 and later assumed the role of Deputy Minister of Finance.

Politics:
In the 2020 Ghanaian general election, John Kumah was elected as the Member of Parliament for the Ejisu constituency under the New Patriotic Party (NPP). He was appointed Deputy Minister of Finance in April 2021. Additionally, he held positions in various committees, including Vice Chairperson of the Constitutional, Legal, and Parliamentary Affairs Committee.

John Kumah’s contributions to law, business, entrepreneurship, and politics have left a lasting impact on Ghana, and his passing is mourned by many.
