Research by the United States Embassy in Ghana indicates that the number of students of Ghanaian origin have increased by 45% if compared to the total number of students from previous years.
According to the 2024 Open Doors Report, published annually Ghanaian now see US as the top destination for Education and as such the number of students keeps increasing year on year. It was identified that for the second year in a row Ghana ranks among the top 25 countries that globally see USA as a top destination for education. Ghana ranks 18th as the total number of students in the USA with over 9,394 students in total
