According to Regina Daniels her mother and family were initially against her marriage to Ned Nwoko.
The Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has revealed how she faced opposition from her family regarding her marriage to politician Ned Nwoko.
She made this shocking revelation during a live session on her social media Platform, during which she addressed rumors that she basically made Nwoko her only choice to marry, even though she knew he was significantly older than her. She also disclosed that, when she met Nwoko, she had other suitors but chose her husband.
According to ‘Regina Daniels’, the actress said, “I was going to visit my boyfriend, I was so angry, I was like mum, ‘Why do we all need to go visit and go sightseeing?’. But when we got there, we met a cute man. Moral of the story: Your boyfriend should not stop you from finding your husband.
“When I saw him I knew he was my husband, I even forgot I was supposed to have a boyfriend. At that time, I had about 20 boyfriends, each serving a different purpose. When people think I didn’t have a choice or my mum forced me, they had no idea, not knowing that my mum was against it. My entire family said No. One of these days I am going to share our full story”.
