Hysoung Sub Ji, Managing Director of LG Electronics Nigeria, emphasized the significance of the new academy center in meeting the evolving demands of the Nigerian market. He highlighted LG’s ongoing commitment to introducing innovative technologies and energy-efficient products that ensure optimal comfort and air quality. Ji also emphasized LG’s corporate responsibility in advancing knowledge and skills to empower individuals, aiming to expand industry expertise and provide premium, eco-friendly air conditioning systems.

Gouranga Mandal, the operational officer of the LG Academy, emphasized the importance of keeping pace with technological advancements in the HVAC industry.

In recent years, significant technological innovations have emerged in HVAC, offering new products and services that reduce costs, enhance customer satisfaction, and improve energy efficiency.

At the forefront of these advancements is LG, particularly with their VRF system. Mandal explained that the academy aims to equip HVAC specialists with the latest skills to deliver high-quality service to the industry.

The academy will feature a range of LG’s products, including the ArtCool Mirror, Multi V outdoor units, Air-to-Water Heat Pump, and various VRF indoor units, showcasing their capabilities in information display and air conditioning technologies.
