Sammy Flex Welcomes Stonebwoy on His Media Platform Amidst Past Fracas
Sammy Flex, the broadcaster and manager for Shatta Wale, has expressed openness to having Stonebwoy, the dancehall artiste, on his media platform.
In an interview with Kwame Dadzie on Showbiz A-Z, Sammy Flex revealed that the last time he interviewed Stonebwoy was during his tenure at Zylofon FM a few years ago. However, he clarified that he currently harbors no issues with the artiste.
Although he acknowledged that there has been no attempt to feature Stonebwoy on his show since their time at Zylofon, Sammy Flex emphasized that his doors are always open for the artiste.
Sammy Flex addressed potential concerns about his dual roles as an artiste manager and a journalist, explaining that he knows how to maintain a balance between the two.
Notably, Sammy Flex and Stonebwoy were reported to have had a confrontation during their time at Zylofon Music. Despite this history, Sammy Flex expressed willingness to host Stonebwoy for an interview.
Sammy Flex boasts a rich background in entertainment media, having produced a prominent entertainment newspaper called Flex in 2007 and hosted various entertainment shows on radio and television stations.
In addition to his media ventures, Sammy Flex has ventured into artiste management, having worked with notable names such as Guru, Nacee, Quarme Zaggy, and Kumi Guitar before assuming the role of Shatta Wale’s manager in September 2023.
