Shatta Wale has no sense, doesn’t deserve diplomatic passport – Ola Michaels

Media personality and showbiz pundit, Ola Michaels, has voiced his opinion on the suitability of awarding a diplomatic passport to Shatta Wale. According to Michaels, Shatta Wale’s character does not align with the qualities expected of someone deserving of such a privilege.

In his statement on the show “United Showbiz,” Michaels emphasized that character is a crucial factor to consider when granting diplomatic privileges. He expressed concern over Shatta Wale’s tendency to use social media as a platform for insults and derogatory language.

“It is character, we cannot give someone like Shatta Wale diplomatic passport and he would come on social media to insult.” Ola Michael stated on United Showbiz

By raising this issue, Ola Michaels has ignited a debate on whether certain public figures, based on their behavior and actions, should be granted diplomatic passports, which carry significant responsibilities and expectations.

He went on to state the volatility of Shatta Wale’s temperament does not befit the weight of responsibilities that a person wielding diplomatic Passport should have.

“He (Shatta Wale) has certain character. It comes with certain responsibilities. You will not use passport to insult someone. But look at someone like Shatta Wale, he wasn’t the only one who was mentioned but he has no sense and insults all our leaders. What sense would we get from Shatta wielding a diplomatic passport”

Shatta Wale comes on social media to insult peoples’ mothers and fathers. He is a bad example” Let us speak the truth and not be afraid of him” Ola Michaels concluded

Contributing his point on the celebrities deserving of diplomatic Passports, Ola Michaels’ further made the point that Shatta Wale is paid for his services as an artist and does not deserve any additional benefit of a diplomatic Passport.

“Shatta Wale performs for himself, he charges for his service so he is not special, even you Mz Gee, don’t you also deserve a diplomatic passport. Aren’t you also representing Ghana?”

The conversation on the issuance of diplomatic passports to musicians was sparked by the former French Ambassador to Ghana Anne Sophie Avé. The former French Ambasador to Ghana commended Ghanaian musicians for lifting the flag of Ghana.

She further encouraged the Ghana government to consider issuing a diplomatic passport to top musician who continue to lift the image of Ghana on the global stage. This she believes will make their global travel easy and to boost the tourism of Ghana
