Nobody has the right to presume the worst – KiDi speaks out about false health statements.
Dennis Nana Dwamena, better known as KiDi, responds to comments made about his health after cancelling his trip.
The singer-songwriter told Cookie Tee on NewDay that he doesn’t blame any of the culprits, but that no one had the right to think the worst.
“I can’t say I blame them. ‘I said I wanted to cancel my tour because I was dealing with some health difficulties, but no matter how I said it, nobody has the right to assume the worst,’ he explained.
According to the afrobeats and highlife artist, these folks may have thought of other ailments, but that was not the case. He also underlined the seriousness of the illness that people assumed he was suffering from.
“When someone has that ailment, it literally means the end of their lives.” You didn’t think of malaria, fever, or anything else when someone says, ‘I’m dealing with some health concerns, I’ll be back’? “Whoever they are, I hope they’re pleased with the outcome,” he remarked.
The gifted musician stated that those who posted the comments did not consider the impact it would have on people.
“They haven’t dug deep enough to see how it affects everyone around me, including my son, mother, team, and the brands I work with.” There was so much panic, and I don’t think these folks realised the consequences of their actions. “They just decided one day, ‘Let’s do this,’ and did it,” he added.
KiDi refuted all of those claims in the same interview, claiming, “Internally, my organs are all correct; my heart, kidney, and liver are all intact.”
