Adjetey Anang, better known as “Pusher” from the TV show “Things We Do For Love,” claimed that he and his wife, Elom Anang, wished to have additional children.
Adjetey Anang confessed to Graphic Showbiz that he wants two children, but his wife wants three. He expressed thankfulness for their children, noting that any new blessings would be welcomed with open arms at this time.
“I’ve always wanted two children, and my wife wants three, so one or two more would be great, but we’re happy with what we have,” he said.
Adjetey Anang also discussed the difficulties he and his wife endured while attempting to conceive, describing the mixed feelings they felt along the way.
“So it was a mix of emotions; there were times when there was so much hope, and other times when you wondered what you were doing wrong as Christians.”
The actor admitted that the process was not without societal constraints, describing instances of people offering prayers and well-wishes along the way.
“There were times when we were invited to outdoor activities, and other times when people would see you and say, ‘We’re praying for you.'” “It wasn’t easy for us at all,” he admitted.
He did emphasise, however, that these well-intended gestures sometimes contributed to the weight of expectations they faced.
“There was a lot of pressure on us, and it was very tough, but we kept hoping, and here we are today,” he said.
Adjetey Anang’s memoir, which recently aroused debate after he admitted to infidelity, prompted debate about the intricacies of relationships and public life.
Despite the uproar, the actor remained steadfast in his resolve not to change any aspect of his story.
“No, I’m not going to change anything; I’m going to leave it as is.” That is what is expected of someone in the spotlight. There is an element of vulnerability and sincerity demanded of you for them to relate” he said
