“I think when I had my daughter, she’s 5 years and will be 6 this year it opened me up to not just being a dad but the music,” Expixode explained“What I ask myself is 5 years from now will my daughter be proud to play my music when she is with her friends?? So you know then I can’t do slack music or certain type of music and that is where the growth stems from”.
Epixode who is heavily influenced by his mother, a veteran Ghanaian traditional musician said he wanted to carry on the legacy of his parents through his music.
“Looking at the legacy the family left with music, I think is right that I continue it. It might not be in the same space but it will just be nice to have a good representation of the family,” he added
